Available 24/7Our story began with Het Financieel Huis, a network of professionals helping people make sense of their financial situation. In those conversations, a pattern emerged: money questions rarely stand alone.
Behind a difficult decision, financial pressure or even an exciting new opportunity, there are often other needs. Mental resilience, family circumstances and life choices are inseparable from financial well-being.
Meapy Health was not a ready-made concept with separate services assembled around it. It grew organically, adding expertise whenever real people needed it. That became the foundation of our holistic Employee Assistance Programme.
One of the people behind Meapy Health developed and implemented well-being programmes for large companies and worked as a director for Workplace Options in France.
We began developing financial well-being training and learning programmes for Belgian organisations. Our long-standing EAP subcontracting collaboration with Lyra Health also started in 2018.
Our founder was selected for the Top 20 Most Social Entrepreneurs in Europe by a University of Oxford jury. UGent and NN recognised Het Financieel Huis for its contribution to financial well-being in Belgium.
The founder of Meapy Health was then CFO of Wellways – ICAS World, later Lyra Health, and went on to become CEO of Lyra Health Belgium. We were also asked to design and co-develop the financial well-being module for AG Health Partner, now Waldon.
Our collaboration as a trusted subcontractor for Workplace Options began, building on years of international EAP experience.
We implemented well-being programmes for more than 330,000 self-employed people within the Belgian Federal Action Plan for Mental Well-being.
Our collaboration model became a case study in the Master of Management at VUB. We also took on an EAP subcontracting assignment for Pulso, focused on financial well-being.
Meapy Health is set up behind the scenes: the platform, the network of professionals and the partnerships.
Meapy Health goes into pre-launch: we test the platform and the service in real conditions with the first clients and professionals.
Meapy Health launches in Europe, with service options in 160 countries.
“My EAP” became “MyEAP”, and eventually MEAPY. The name puts the person at the centre: your situation, your pace, your needs.
There is a more personal story, too. Our office cat Kato soon became known as Meapy. Usually independent, she chooses her own moments to come closer. Never because someone insists, but when she wants connection.
That is our Meap Moment: the moment you choose to ask for support. We listen without judgement and act only on your request. Close when needed, at a distance when wanted.

A computer science engineer and the technical driving force behind Meapy Health. Together with Stijn, he built Finny and Strategoo, turning complex technology into accessible solutions.
Our model combines our own expertise with international collaboration. Workplace Options and Telus Health are our co-service providers. The aim remains the same: support that fits the person and their local context.
What began with financial questions has grown into support for work, life and everything in between. Always starting with the person.
